Alibaba Faces Claims Of Using Claude To Build Rival AI Models At Scale

The AI war just moved from model launches to model extraction. Anthropic says Alibaba-linked operators used Claude at huge scale, while Alibaba is pricing Qwen to win global developers.

Details:

  • Anthropic claims the campaign ran from Apr 22 to Jun 5, using almost 25,000 fake accounts and 28.8M+ Claude exchanges to train weaker models on Claude’s outputs

  • The June 10 Senate letter to Tim Scott and Elizabeth Warren says Alibaba/Qwen-linked operators aimed to push China toward Mythos Preview; Alibaba gave no response

  • Meanwhile, Alibaba cut Qwen on Qoder by 80%/60% for global users during US workday, amid prior DeepSeek/Moonshot/MiniMax claims, a Pentagon listing and US model limits

Bottom line: AI is a race over capability, cost, IP, rules and geopolitics — not just whose chatbot gives better answers.

Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts

Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.

Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.

Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.

One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.

It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.

Why?

  1. Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025

  2. Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since ‘95.*

  3. Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.

Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.

Google Brings Computer Use To Gemini 3.5 Flash For Real AI Agent Tasks

Google just turned Gemini 3.5 Flash into a computer use AI agent. It can see screens, reason through tasks, and take action across browser, mobile, and desktop pushing Gemini beyond chat into real AI workflow automation.

Details:

  • Computer use is built into Gemini 3.5 Flash, instead of staying as a separate Gemini 2.5 model. Developers can combine it with Search, Maps, function calling and other tools

  • Developers and enterprises can use it through the Gemini API and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to build agents for software testing, knowledge work and multi-step app automation

  • Google added safety layers for live environments, including adversarial training, user confirmation for sensitive actions, indirect prompt-injection stops, sandboxing and permission controls

This is the next step beyond chatbots. AI is moving from answering questions to safely operating software, workflows and real digital tasks.

AI Alone Can’t Run Revenue

Finance doesn’t run on “mostly right.” It runs on math.

In The Architecture Behind AI-Native Revenue Automation, Tabs’s CTO breaks down why LLMs alone aren’t enough—and what it actually takes to build audit-ready, AI-driven contract-to-cash systems for modern B2B teams.

How to Build a 24/7 Web Crawler with Manus

With Manus Cloud Computer, you can automate website monitoring in minutes. This guide shows you how to build a crawler that tracks updates, saves matches, and runs on a schedule.

  1. Create Cloud Computer

Launch the Manus desktop app, go to Settings > My Computer, and tap Create under Cloud Computer to set up an always-on server.

  2. Start task

Create a fresh Manus task and select your Cloud Computer in the composer.

  3. Inspect site

Ask Manus to review the site first so it can find the most reliable way to monitor it.

    • Check the page structure and formatting

    • Identify the best method for tracking updates

    • Confirm the exact info you want collected

  4. Use crawler prompt

    Try this prompt:

“Set up a web crawler on my Cloud Computer for [URL]. Find the best way to monitor it, check for [specific updates] twice a day, save matches to a CSV, schedule it with cron, log every run, and keep results matching [filter rule].”

  5. Build and schedule it

Have Manus create the script, connect it to cron, and make sure logging is working.

    • Run checks twice a day

    • Save matching results

    • Log every run

    • Export everything to CSV

  6. Test it once

Run the script once to confirm it is collecting the right data.

  7. Leave it running

Once it looks good, turn it on 24/7. After that, you can check the collected data anytime from your phone or laptop.

Tip: Monitor stable page elements whenever possible, as they are less likely to break when a site is redesigned.
