Anthropic

Anthropic CEO Refuses Pentagon Demand for Unrestricted AI Use Ahead of Deadline

With less than 24 hours before a strict deadline set by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is standing firm, saying he “cannot in good conscience” give the Pentagon unlimited use of the company’s AI models.

Details:

  • Amodei rejected the Pentagon’s overnight contract “legalese.” He said it’s not a real compromise. It could let the military bypass Anthropic’s safeguards on mass surveillance and fully autonomous weapons

  • Defense Department has pressured Anthropic with threats. It may label the company a “supply chain risk” or invoke the Defense Production Act. Amodei called that contradictory

  • Anthropic is the sole AI lab with classified-ready systems. Amodei said if safeguards aren’t accepted, they’ll walk away and “smoothly transition” the military to another provider, reportedly xAI

Anthropic says it’s still negotiating in good faith and won’t be bullied into dropping its safety standards, while acknowledging the government can choose its contractors.

Massive $110B Investment Pushes OpenAI Valuation to $730 Billion

OpenAI has begun one of the largest private funding rounds ever, raising $110B at a $730B pre-money valuation. It surpasses its $40B March 2025 round and remains open, combining cash and infrastructure services.

Details:

  • Amazon is investing $50B, with $35B tied to milestones like a year-end IPO or reaching AGI. It’s also adding $100B to its AWS deal for 2GW+ of Tranium compute, consumer models, and runtime on Bedrock

  • Nvidia is contributing $30B, easing doubts after earlier $100B rumors. OpenAI will use 3GW for inference and 2GW for training on Nvidia’s Vera Rubin systems

  • SoftBank is putting in the remaining $30B to help OpenAI scale from frontier research to daily global use. It backs OpenAI’s view that leadership goes to whoever scales infrastructure into products quickest

The sheer scale of these hardware and capital commitments sets a dramatic fresh baseline for the future of the AI industry.

How to Turn One Product Photo into Scroll-Stopping Ads in Minutes

Turn one product photo into a high-impact ad in minutes. This tutorial shows how to use Dreamina to go from prompt to polished image to motion video with a few precise choices.

  1. Open Dreamina

→ Go to Dreamina’s platform and log in.

  2. Upload product photo

→ Use a clean, high-quality product image (transparent background or good lighting works best).

  3. Set creative direction

→ Decide the overall vibe before prompting (bold, minimal, luxury, futuristic, playful, etc.).

  4. Write ad prompt

    • Example:

Design a vibrant energy drink ad. Position the bottle at an angle in the center, with neon liquid splashes, glowing ice shards, and citrus sparks bursting around it. Use a dark cosmic background with electric streaks of purple and blue. Add the headline ‘Power in Every Drop’ in a bold, futuristic silver font.”

  5. Add extra details (optional)

→ Refine your prompt by specifying things like:

    • Aspect ratio (1:1, 4:5, or 16:9)

    • Font style (bold, futuristic, elegant)

    • Color palette (neon, pastel, monochrome)

  6. Generate images

→ Tap on Generate. Dreamina will create around 4 variations automatically.

  7. Edit if needed

→ Use the editor to tweak:

    • Colors or effects

    • Text placement and size

    • Background elements

  8. Turn into video

→ Press Generate Video. Then choose:

    • Video model (animation style)

    • Duration (short for ads, longer for storytelling)

Note: Use subtle glow, rim light, or shadow to separate the product from the background without looking overprocessed.

Create Your Own Photo Like This Using the Prompt Below:

Create a technical infographic of [OBJECT] with a 45-degree isometric 3D perspective showing the device slightly tilted to reveal depth and dimension.
Combine a realistic photoreal render with black ink technical annotations on pure white background. Include:
Key component labels with color-coded callout boxes
Internal component visibility through transparent/cutaway sections
Measurements, dimensions, and precise scale markers
Material callouts and quantities
Color-coded arrows for function/flow: RED (power/battery), BLUE (data/connectivity), ORANGE (thermal/processor), GREEN (sensors/haptics)
Simple schematics or cross-sectional diagrams where relevant
Place “OBJECT” title in a hand-drawn technical box (top-left corner).
Style: Black linework (technical pen/architectural), sketched but precise. Object remains clearly visible. Educational museum-exhibit vibe. Clean composition, balanced negative space.
Perspective: Isometric 3D angle—tilted to show depth, dimension, and internal architecture dramatically. Like a professional product teardown or engineering manual.
Colors: ~10-15% accent density. Black dominant. White background.
Output: 1080×1080, ultra-crisp, social-feed optimized
