Anthropic Mythos Standoff Puts AI Export Controls On The G7 Agenda
Anthropic’s Mythos standoff is no longer just a company problem. A U.S. export order took Fable 5 and Mythos 5 offline, while the fight has reached the G7 table with top AI leaders and world governments.
Details:
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick warned Anthropic not to give Fable 5 or Mythos 5 to foreign nationals without a U.S. license. Anthropic says this forced a global shutdown
Internal messages show employees felt the company was being unfairly targeted and bullied on “bad vibes,” as the reason shifted from access to jailbreaks to security
U.S. also had a stronger concern: the Mythos access list reportedly expanded to about 50 more entities, including a South Korean telecom firm suspected of China links
Currently, AI CEOs are at the G7 in France. The question is simple: can frontier AI stay global when governments treat it as security infrastructure?

Midjourney Builds A Medical AI Scanner For Full Body Imaging Tests
Midjourney is moving far beyond AI image generation. The company has revealed Midjourney Medical, a full body ultrasound scanner that aims to turn advanced health scans into a 60 second spa like experience for everyone.
Details:
The scanner uses water and ultrasound sensors to map muscle, fat, bone and organs. Midjourney says it can scan in 60 seconds, with no radiation or magnets, and aims to rival MRI quality
The prototype uses 40 Butterfly Ultrasound on Chip modules and heavy compute to rebuild the body into 3D images. Midjourney says about a dozen people have been scanned so far
The first San Francisco spa is planned for late 2027 with 10 scanners, saunas and cold plunges. Currently, it starts with body maps, not diagnosis, while FDA and privacy details remain open
This is the big shift: Midjourney is trying to turn AI, hardware, wellness and preventive health into one consumer product.

Install Locally AI from the App Store.
Choose model
Launch the app and pick a model. You can start with Google’s open-source Gemma model, which usually works well.
Download model
Download the AI model inside Locally AI. Keep the app running until the download is complete.
Go to Action Button settings
Go to your iPhone settings.
Enter Settings
Search Action Button
Swipe to Shortcut
Choose Voice Mode
Search for Locally AI inside the Shortcut option. Then select Voice Mode.
Download speech-to-text
Press the Action Button and wait for the chime. The app will ask you to download a speech-to-text model the first time. Download it.
