Anthropic Reveals Shocking AI Misuse Cases Linked To Claude

Anthropic just revealed some of the most severe AI misuse cases it has ever detected. The report shows Claude being targeted for cyberattacks, surveillance, weapons research, and even attempts to copy its intelligence capabilities.

Details:

  • Anthropic found Chinese firms using thousands of fake accounts to generate millions of Claude queries, studying its responses through “distillation” to improve their own models

  • Anthropic blocked cases tied to biology, rocket software, drones, and intelligence tools. Five biology cases raised weapon concerns, though harmful intent wasn’t confirmed in every case

  • Claude was used in cyber and surveillance attempts, including stealthier malware, mass monitoring, and automated espionage. Anthropic shut down accounts and strengthened safety

AI is becoming more powerful, and the challenge is no longer just building smarter models. It’s also about preventing those models from being abused at scale.

OpenAI Builds ChatGPT for Wall Street and Major Financial Institutions

OpenAI just launched a fresh version of ChatGPT built specifically for Wall Street. The goal is to help financial professionals research faster, analyze data, build models, and automate time-consuming banking tasks.

Details:

  • ChatGPT for Financial Services combines OpenAI’s latest AI with data from LSEG, PitchBook, and Daloopa to analyze companies, review documents, create reports, and build client materials

  • Built with Morgan Stanley and Evercore, the product fits banking workflows and handles tasks often assigned to junior analysts, including research, summaries, and presentation prep

  • OpenAI is targeting enterprise finance with permissions, encryption, and audit tools, positioning AI as a capable assistant for regulated industries like banking

The future of finance may not replace bankers with AI, but bankers who use AI could gain a major advantage over those who don’t.

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads

Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:

After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.

The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.

“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”

Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.

How to Create Presentations From Google Drive With Gemini

Google Slides can use Gemini to turn your existing Drive content into a complete presentation. Add your source files, give it a presentation to follow, and receive a deck you can fully edit afterward.

  1. Open Gemini in Slides

Open Google Slides on your computer and start a fresh presentation. Tap Ask Gemini and choose the option to generate a presentation.

  2. Describe Presentation

Tell Gemini the topic, audience, goals, and approximate number of slides. Be specific about the information you want included.

"Create an 8-slide presentation on our Q3 marketing results for company leadership. Cover growth, top channels, campaign performance, problems, and recommendations."

  3. Add Files From Drive

Press Add sources → Add from Drive and select the files Gemini should use for context. You can reference multiple files, including:

    • Google Docs and Sheets

    • PDFs and previous presentations

  4. Match Existing Deck

Choose Match presentation style → Add from Drive, then select an existing presentation. Gemini uses it as a visual style reference for the fresh deck.

  5. Review Plan

Gemini may ask follow-up questions before creating the deck. It then generates a plan showing the overview, sources, and slide-by-slide structure. Edit the outline before continuing.

  6. Approve and Generate

Tap Approve once the plan is ready. Gemini builds the presentation using your prompt, Drive sources, and selected style. Keep the Slides tab open while it generates.

  7. Edit Finished Deck

Review the generated presentation and refine it directly in Google Slides. You can manually edit elements or ask Gemini to change individual slides, including their content and design.

Note: For text-heavy slides, use Gemini’s Refine tools to shorten, rephrase, formalize, or turn paragraphs into bullets rather than rewriting everything manually.

Create Your Own Photo Like This Using the Prompt Below:

Create an authentic 1980s retro-vintage portrait in a 4:5 vertical aspect ratio, using the provided person as the exact facial reference. Preserve their identity, facial structure, recognizable features, skin tone, and natural expression with high accuracy—do not alter or beautify the face.
Give the subject a classic 1980s hairstyle and stylish period-accurate fashion with bold silhouettes, authentic textures, and effortless vintage attitude. Compose the portrait naturally with a strong editorial feel, keeping the subject as the clear focal point.
Capture the image as if shot on a 35mm analog film camera, with realistic film grain, subtle dust and texture, gentle softness, natural skin detail, slight color fading, and authentic analog imperfections. Use warm nostalgic color grading, soft neon highlights, subtle ambient glow, and direct on-camera flash to create the distinctive look of an iconic 1980s photograph.
Keep the lighting cinematic yet believable, with soft shadows, realistic highlights, natural contrast, and a slightly imperfect film exposure. The final image should feel genuinely photographed in the 1980s—not digitally recreated, with a timeless, nostalgic, fashionable, and effortlessly cool atmosphere.
