Anthropic Warns Frontier AI Is Becoming A Security Risk

Dario Amodei says AI policy is moving at Treebeard speed while frontier models are racing ahead. His warning is blunt: Mythos-class AI has made safety, jobs, chips, weapons, and drug approvals urgent policy issues.

Details:

  • Claude Mythos Preview changed the tone. Anthropic says it can find and exploit serious software flaws, while UK AISI found it can attack weak systems after access. AI is a security issue

  • Amodei wants mandatory third-party tests before release across cyber, bio, loss of control, and automated R&D. If a model fails, regulators should be able to block or reverse deployment

  • His plan goes beyond model safety. It covers job shocks, wage insurance, training, UBI or capital accounts, quicker AI drug approvals, tighter chip controls, and rules for autonomous weapons

AI is no longer waiting for policy. Governments must act without delay, or keep reacting after every bigger model arrives.

OpenAI Eyes Major AI Price Cuts As Anthropic Wins Enterprise Users

OpenAI may be preparing for an AI price war. The company is reportedly considering big token price cuts as enterprise users question AI costs and Anthropic gains ground with Claude Code.

Details:

  • The cuts are still under discussion, not confirmed. But the reason is clear: businesses are pushing back on expensive AI usage, and Sam Altman has said cost is becoming a huge issue

  • Anthropic’s Claude Code has gone viral with developers and helped the company win more enterprise spend. OpenAI is making Codex a bigger focus to compete for the same users

  • A price war could help customers, but hurt margins. Both companies already spend billions on compute, while investors watch their IPO plans and ask if AI revenue can stay profitable

The AI race is no longer just about better models. It is becoming a battle over price, enterprise users, coding tools, and who can turn AI demand into real profit.

AI Alone Can’t Run Revenue

Finance doesn’t run on “mostly right.” It runs on math.

In The Architecture Behind AI-Native Revenue Automation, Tabs’s CTO breaks down why LLMs alone aren’t enough—and what it actually takes to build audit-ready, AI-driven contract-to-cash systems for modern B2B teams.

How to Use Perplexity Computer as Your AI Shopping Assistant

Finding the right product online often takes longer than it should. Perplexity Computer helps speed that up by browsing, comparing, and sorting options based on what you actually want.

  1. Launch Perplexity

Go to Perplexity’s website or app and make sure you are using the latest version.

  2. Turn on Computer mode

Look for the Perplexity Computer toggle and enable it before starting your search.

  3. Begin with specific item

Tell Perplexity exactly what you want it to look for. You can include:

    • the product type

    • your preferred brands

    • the style or look you want

    • your size or any must-have details

  4. Use shopping prompt

    Example prompt:

“Find me the best options for a lightweight men’s running jacket. I prefer Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour. I want a simple black or grey style in size medium.”

  5. Let Computer do browsing

Perplexity Computer will send sub-agents to check listings, compare options, and gather the results. It is also very good at organizing the final report clearly without much extra instruction.

  6. Review results and refine

If the first report is too broad, narrow it down with follow-up details. For example, you can ask it to focus on:

    • lower prices

    • specific colors

    • certain stores

    • quicker shipping

    • a different size or brand mix

  7. Turn it into automation

If you want Perplexity to keep tracking deals or repeat the search regularly, ask it to automate the task.

    Example prompt:

“Track these wireless earbuds every day and alert me when the price drops or a better deal appears.”

Note: Mention your preferred brands, budget, size, color, and style early so Perplexity does not waste time showing irrelevant options.
