Claude Agent Exposed Pentagon Credentials to an Outside Site

A personal Claude Code agent was allegedly connected to a secure Pentagon system. WIRED says an Accenture contractor linked their own AI account to a Defense Department network used by multiple intelligence agencies.

Details:

  • The agent was given admin credentials to write and deploy code on NIPRNet, a DoD network holding sensitive unclassified data. It ran for two months before detection and patch

  • WIRED says it appeared to send passwords, logins and a NIPRNet map to a high-risk website. NIST flagged the site for a flaw that could let hackers trick AI agents into stealing credentials

  • Accenture initially failed to report the incident despite a 72-hour rule. Accenture says an independent review found no merit to the claims; the Pentagon declined to comment

Experts warn this could enable attacks on sensitive systems, though no classified breach is known. It raises questions about AI-agent oversight.

Reddit Loses More Than a Million Weekly Referrals Amid Google AI Shift

Google's AI-powered search is sending fewer people to Reddit, and investors are worried. Reuters reports that Reddit shares fell 23% in premarket trading after the company warned of declining search traffic.

Details:

  • Reddit says search referrals dropped by more than 1 million per week on average in October. Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode answer questions directly, reducing visits to websites

  • Reddit warns that daily users could fall by a low double-digit percentage in Q4 from around 130 million if the trend continues. Its US daily users already declined 2% to 50.7 million

  • Despite strong revenue growth, investors reacted to the traffic warning. Reddit plans to focus on logged-in users and test requiring sign-ins for most content to reduce scraping

The bigger concern goes beyond Reddit. As Google answers more questions with AI, even major websites risk losing visitors who previously came through search.

How to Build an AI Agent That Sorts Customer Feedback

Customer feedback can pile up quickly. This workflow uses AI by Zapier to categorize feedback, detect urgent issues, organize responses, and alert your team automatically.

  1. Collect Customer Feedback

Create a Google Form for customer feedback and connect it to Google Sheets via Responses → Select destination for responses.

Add a worksheet named Feedback Triage with columns: Feedback, Category, Sentiment, Priority, and Summary.

  2. Create Your Automation

Open Zapier and create a fresh Zap.

    Trigger: Google Sheets

    Event: New Spreadsheet Row

    Worksheet: Your form responses

Each submission will automatically trigger the workflow.

  3. Add Your AI Agent

Add AI by Zapier as an action and select an Advanced or Premium model.

Under Settings → Tools and Knowledge, add:

    • Google Sheets → Create Spreadsheet Row

    • Slack → Send Channel Message

Connect your accounts and configure the Feedback Triage worksheet and Slack alert channel.

  4. Train AI to Sort Feedback

Paste this prompt into AI by Zapier:

    “Analyze this customer feedback: [FEEDBACK].

Category: Bug, Feature Request, Billing, Usability, Praise, or Other.

    Sentiment: Positive, Neutral, or Negative.

    Priority: High, Medium, or Low.

High priority: Account lockouts, payment failures, data loss, or security concerns.

Summarize the issue in one sentence. Save the original feedback and classifications to Feedback Triage using Google Sheets.

If priority is High, alert Slack with the category and summary. Never invent details or contact customers automatically.”

Replace [FEEDBACK] with your Google Sheets feedback field.

  5. Test Your Agent

Press Preview and test different customer responses. Verify that AI:

    • Categorizes feedback correctly

    • Detects urgent issues

    • Saves organized spreadsheet records

    • Sends Slack alerts when needed

    Review tool actions before publishing.

  6. Activate Your Workflow

Once testing succeeds, publish your Zap.

    Your workflow becomes:

Customer Feedback → AI Classification → Organized Spreadsheet → Urgent Slack Alerts

Your team can prioritize important feedback without sorting every submission manually.

Note: Tool-enabled AI by Zapier workflows require a paid plan. Check data permissions and test with sample feedback first.
