Claude Will Mark AI Generated Content With Hidden Watermarks

Anthropic is turning AI provenance into a built-in Claude feature. Latest models will add invisible marks to generated text and signed metadata to supported files, applying the EU AI Act’s transparency rules worldwide.
Details:
Claude’s text and code will carry an imperceptible model-level watermark that follows copy-paste and may survive some edits, across supported Claude products, APIs and major cloud partners
Supported PNG, JPG and SVG files will use signed C2PA provenance metadata. Models launched from Aug. 2 mark outputs at release; older models are being updated by Dec. 2
Anthropic is preparing tools to detect both marks. A hit shows content may have been processed by Claude, not fully authored by it; heavy edits or stripped metadata can hide it
The move is already divisive. As AI transparency rules spread, the debate around attribution, privacy, and private or open models will get bigger.
Stop Paying for 10 Tools. One AI Does It All.
Most e-commerce sellers are running their store across 6 to 10 separate tools — and spending more time managing software than growing their business. StoreClaw replaces your entire stack with one autonomous AI engine that monitors competitors, optimizes listings, automates marketing, and tracks real profit across Shopify, Amazon, and beyond.
It doesn't wait for you to ask. It runs 24/7 in the background, so you wake up to a full dashboard instead of a list of things you forgot to check.
Connect your store, and StoreClaw gets to work — no prompts, no complex setup, no six-app stack.

Researchers Cracked Hidden Reasoning Inside Top AI Models Through APIs

Researchers found a way to expose reasoning that models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google were designed to keep hidden. The weakness came from encrypted reasoning traces passed through APIs, not stolen keys.
Details:
Encrypted traces could move across sessions, users and sibling models. Researchers replayed a stronger model’s trace into a weaker one, then used a jailbreak to make parts of it readable
From 315,320 reasoning blocks in public repositories, they recovered 367 pieces of personal data and 182 credentials. The flaw could also reveal unsafe content hidden from final answer
The attack could enable reasoning distillation and invisible prompt injection. Kimi K3 produced unusually similar traces to some frontier models, but the researchers say this is not proof
OpenAI, Anthropic and Google changed their APIs after disclosure. Data leaks were mitigated, but some reasoning traces may still be recoverable.

How to Make Claude Your Inbox Chief of Staff

If you spend too much time reading emails, figuring out what matters, writing replies, and scheduling meetings, Claude for Outlook can handle much of that repetitive work while keeping every final send under your control.
Install Claude for Outlook
Open Microsoft Marketplace, search for Claude for Outlook, install the add-in, and sign in with your Claude account.
Triage Inbox
Open Claude inside Outlook and have it review your unread messages. Ask it to separate emails into:
Needs attention
Important but not urgent
No action needed
This gives you a cleaner starting point instead of reading everything manually.
Find What Matters First
Have Claude identify the messages that deserve your attention first. Prioritize things like:
Deadlines
Customer or client requests
Decisions blocking other people
Understand Long Threads
Open an important email and let Claude review the conversation before you reply. Claude can use the open message, full email thread, and attachment info to understand what happened and what the sender needs.
Draft Reply
Once Claude understands the thread, ask it to prepare the response.
For example:
Draft a concise, professional reply that answers the sender's questions and clearly states the next step.Claude places the draft into Outlook’s compose window to review.
Organize Meetings
If the conversation needs a meeting, Claude can check attendee availability and help prepare the calendar invite. It can help with:
Finding a suitable time
Checking availability
Preparing the meeting details
Review and Send
Check the recipient, reply, meeting time, and any important details before sending. Claude leaves generated emails and calendar invites unsent until you approve them, so you stay in control of what goes out.
Note: Use Claude to narrow your inbox down to the messages that actually need your judgment, then focus your time there.
