Elon’s xAI Sues Apple and OpenAI Over Alleged AI Market Conspiracy

Elon Musk's xAI has escalated its battle against Big Tech by filing a federal lawsuit in Texas, accusing Apple and OpenAI of conspiring to monopolize the AI market and suppress competition through their exclusive partnership.
Details:
The lawsuit claims Apple and OpenAI "locked up markets to maintain monopolies and block innovators like X and xAI." xAI argues Apple suppressed its products in the App Store due to a deal. Without that deal, Apple would have more reason to feature X app and Grok
Apple’s partnership with OpenAI puts ChatGPT deeply into iPhones, iPads, and Macs, which xAI says gives an unfair edge. Musk has grown his AI empire—buying X for $33 billion to fuel chatbot training and adding the Grok chatbot to Tesla cars
This case is one battle in Musk’s wider legal fight. He’s also suing OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman in federal court to stop its shift from nonprofit to for-profit. The lawsuit adds to Apple’s App Store troubles, including the Epic Games case
This legal battle could reshape how tech giants form AI partnerships and may determine whether deals constitute anti-competitive behavior in the emerging artificial intelligence economy.
Learn from this investor’s $100m mistake
In 2010, a Grammy-winning artist passed on investing $200K in an emerging real estate disruptor. That stake could be worth $100+ million today.
One year later, another real estate disruptor, Zillow, went public. This time, everyday investors had regrets, missing pre-IPO gains.
Now, a new real estate innovator, Pacaso – founded by a former Zillow exec – is disrupting a $1.3T market. And unlike the others, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.
Pacaso’s co-ownership model has generated $1B+ in luxury home sales and service fees, earned $110M+ in gross profits to date, and received backing from the same VCs behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

Microsoft Launches Excel AI But Warns Against Using It for Accurate Work

Microsoft has just launched Copilot AI function in Excel that promises to revolutionize how users create formulas, but the company's warnings about its limitations raise serious questions about whether this feature is ready for real-world use.
Details:
COPILOT lets Windows 365 users generate Excel formulas with natural language instead of complex syntax. Typing "=COPILOT('Summarize this feedback', A2:A20)" can classify, summarize, or generate content
Microsoft warns the feature is unreliable for critical work. It shouldn’t be used for financial reports, legal tasks, or anything requiring accuracy. Like other AI tools, it can hallucinate or misread prompts, causing errors in calculations
The tool is still in beta, limited to Copilot Beta Channel users. It allows 100 calls per 10 minutes or 300 per hour. It can’t pull live web data or private documents. Privacy concerns remain, though Microsoft says data won’t train AI
While AI-powered formula generation in Excel is appealing, Microsoft's heavy disclaimers suggest it may have been rushed to market before meeting the reliability standards Excel’s professional users expect.

How to Use ChatGPT + Canva to Generate Personalized Designs

Personalized designs at scale? Absolutely possible and easier than you think. Here’s how to use ChatGPT’s Canva connector to turn a single template into multiple unique creations — with almost no effort on your part.
Create or Select Template
Head to Canva AI and either create a fresh template (e.g., an “event invitation”) or select one of your existing designs that you’d like to personalize.
Connect Canva in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, click the “+” → Agent Mode option and connect your Canva account through Connectors. This step ensures ChatGPT can reach your designs directly.
Prepare Prompt
Use a prompt like this:
“Open my [template name] in Canva and create 5 unique versions with personalized messages for: Sarah (graduation), James (promotion), Mia (wedding), Daniel (birthday), and Chloe (business launch).”
Generate Variations
ChatGPT will duplicate your chosen template and automatically insert personalized text for each recipient, creating multiple versions at once.
Review and Refine
Open Canva to review the generated designs. Make quick adjustments to formatting, layouts, or images if needed so everything looks exactly as you want.
Download and Share
Once satisfied, download your finalized designs and share them with your recipients — or schedule them directly through Canva if you’re using it for campaigns.
Tip: Start with a simple, clean design in Canva before automation. Complex templates with too many elements can make bulk personalization messy — keeping it minimal ensures quicker edits and better results.
