Perplexity

Perplexity Builds an AI That Orchestrates Other AIs to Get Things Done

Perplexity just redefined AI with “Perplexity Computer” — moving beyond chat to fully autonomous digital workers that can run your software and execute complex workflows like a human teammate.

Details:

  • It doesn’t rely on one AI. It orchestrates specialists: Opus 4.6 (reasoning), Gemini (research), ChatGPT 5.2 (long memory), Grok (quick tasks), Nano Banana (images), Veo 3.1 (video)

  • You state the outcome. It breaks that into sub-tasks and launches sub-agents to research, process data, write code, and call APIs inside secure browser + filesystem sandboxes

  • Built on the idea that models are specializing, it can run parallel workflows for long periods with minimal oversight. It’s $200/month on Perplexity Max, with Enterprise coming in a few days

Imagine waking up to find your complex, multi-step tasks already completed by a team of specialized AI agents. The era of effortless automation has arrived.

How to Turn Any Script Into a Cinematic Short Film

Turn your script into a cinematic short film without touching a camera. This guide shows the step‑by‑step workflow modern AI creators use—from structuring scenes to generating polished shots in Runway.

  1. Script Breakdown Into Scenes

Divide your script into clear scenes, noting the setting, emotional tone, needed characters, and key objects for each.

  2. Convert Scenes Into Instructions

Break each scene into smaller shot descriptions, writing what the camera sees moment by moment to translate the script into clear visual prompts for the AI.

  3. Use Clear Prompt Formula

Follow a structured prompt format to maintain clarity:

    • Subject or character

    • Action or setting details

    • Camera angle or movement

    Example replacement:

A solitary astronaut stepping forward, medium shot, slow dolly-in, cold blue lighting, retro sci-fi aesthetic.

  4. Create Visual Consistency

Use a fixed reference image for your main character or environment and repeat stylistic keywords (cinematic, 4K, shallow depth of field, sunrise lighting) to maintain visual continuity and avoid unwanted variations.

  5. Set Up Runway Workflow

Open Runway, sign up or log in, and prepare two core inputs:

    • Your engineered shot-by-shot prompts

    • Your chosen reference image

Upload these into the relevant video mode.

  6. Add Motion Controls

Use Runway’s Motion Controls to elevate each shot:

    • Pan for horizontal movement

    • Tilt for vertical emphasis

  7. Download, Organize, and Build Cut

Export the clips and organize them into labeled folders by scene and shot number, checking each for continuity, lighting match, and character accuracy before final assembly.

  8. Final Assembly in Video Editor

Import everything into DaVinci Resolve or Premiere, rebuild the short in script order, then add dialogue, foley, SFX, and unified color grading with subtle audio transitions and consistent contrast/exposure so all AI shots feel cohesive.

Note: Runway reacts well to clear verbs, so prioritize actions like walking, turning, lifting, or observing to avoid static shots.
