Google Launches Gemini 4 Argon With Advanced Coding and Cyber Defenses

Google has released Gemini 4 Argon, its flagship AI model for complex, multi-step work. Google claims stronger reasoning than top GPT-6 and Claude rivals, with more direct answers, less repetition, and fewer clichés.
Details:
Argon targets coding, science, finance, legal work, and cybersecurity. Its 1-million-token output limit also supports extended tasks, including finding and patching software vulnerabilities
Google AI Pro and Ultra users can use Argon in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search; paid developers use the API. Antigravity coding with Argon is limited to Ultra subscribers
API pricing starts at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, doubling after November 30. Google reports 35% more code submissions and 30% fewer rollbacks
With Argon rolling out to paid users and developers, Google is pushing its most advanced AI into real-world work and raising the stakes for AI rivals.

Meta Launches Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full to Challenge AI Leaders

Meta has just launched Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its most advanced AI models yet. Built to rival OpenAI and Anthropic, the family targets coding, expert work, and personal agents that complete complex tasks.
Details:
Active Memory recalls details across chats; Active Focus works through obstacles and errors. Both handle coding and complex legal, financial and health tasks, from apps to insurance
Both support 1M-token context and text, image, audio and video input. Artificial Analysis scores Wonder at 52 and Full at 56, up from Muse Spark 1.3's 48. Meta highlights privacy safeguards
Wonder is on Meta's API and Muse Code at $4 input/$20 output per million tokens. Full is for Muse Code subscribers. Wonder will soon power the Muse agent, starting with subscribers
After years of playing catch-up, Meta has a stronger contender. The real test is how well these models deliver useful AI agents for everyday life.

How to Turn Your Laptop Into an AI Coding Assistant

Want your own coding AI running locally on your laptop at no charge? In this guide, I’ll show you how to set up a coding LLM with Ollama and use it inside tools like Claude Code or Codex in just a few steps.
Check laptop specs
Take a screenshot of your PC hardware specs, then drop them into Claude or ChatGPT and ask which Ollama coder model your machine can run well.
Include RAM, CPU, GPU, and VRAM if available
Ask for best mix of speed and coding quality
Choose coder model
Browse Ollama coder models and pick best option for your hardware. Then copy its launch command.
Example:
ollama run <model-name>Enter project folder
Launch a terminal inside the folder where you want the coding agent to work.
Download and launch model
Paste the command into the terminal, start the download, and wait for setup to finish.
The first run may take time depending on model size
Once complete, the local model will be ready to use
Connect it to coding tool
Launch Claude Code or Codex and point it to the Ollama model running on your laptop.
Increase context size
Go to Ollama > Settings > Context and raise the default 4K context window to 32K or higher.
Troubleshoot if needed
If Claude Code refuses tasks or drops tool calls, try OpenCode with the same local model setup.
Test with smaller tasks first
Lower context size if performance becomes unstable
Note: Test your setup with small prompts first, such as fixing a bug or explaining a function, before asking it to handle a full project.
