ByteDance just pushed AI video past the short clip era. Seedance 2.5 is coming in early July with native 30-second generation, 50 reference inputs, stronger editing control, and a bigger push into creator IP.

Seedance 2.5 can create one 30-second video without stitching clips together. That matters because ads, demos, story scenes, and social videos finally get enough room to feel complete
The model supports up to 50 multimodal references, including images, audio, video, and style inputs. This gives creators more control over characters, scenes, motion, and consistency
ByteDance also upgraded Seedance 2.0 with native 4K and 10-bit color, launched Doubao, image, and audio models, and showed an IP platform with Stephen Chow templates
