OpenAI Launches GPT-5 Powered Codex with Dynamic Thinking Capabilities

OpenAI has unveiled GPT-5-Codex, a major upgrade to its Codex AI coding agent. The model is set to transform how AI handles programming tasks and marks OpenAI’s response to rising competition, with rivals like Cursor already generating $500M+ in ARR.
Details:
GPT-5-Codex’s standout feature is dynamic "thinking," adjusting compute time on the fly. Unlike older models that fixed resources upfront, it can extend tasks from seconds to seven hours, uncovering solutions rigid systems miss
On benchmarks, it outperforms GPT-5 in SWE-bench Verified and large-scale refactoring. Trained for code reviews, it makes fewer errors and adds more value. It’s integrated across Codex tools in terminals, IDEs, GitHub, and ChatGPT for all paid tiers
Rivals like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot intensify competition, while newcomers like Windsurf spark acquisitions. With API availability coming, GPT-5-Codex helps OpenAI stay ahead in the growing AI coding market
GPT-5-Codex introduces dynamic problem-solving, reshaping how developers code and setting a higher standard for AI assistants in a rapidly evolving market.

Meta Accidentally Reveals Upcoming Smart Glasses Before Event

Just days before Meta's highly anticipated Connect event, the company appears to have announced its own biggest news through an unlisted video that was quickly removed from their platform.
Details:
The leaked footage revealed Meta's upcoming Ray-Ban branded smart glasses featuring an integrated display in the right lens, complete with "Meta | Ray-Ban Display" branding. Users can ask Meta AI questions, view navigation maps directly in their field of vision, translate signs in real-time, and interact with the interface using hand gestures paired with a specialized wristband controller
The video also showcased a second pair of smart glasses – wraparound "Sphaera" Oakley smart glasses equipped with a camera positioned on the nose bridge, suggesting Meta is expanding its smart eyewear partnerships
The accompanying wristband uses advanced surface electromyography (sEMG) tech to interpret muscle signals from hand movements, allowing users to "write" replies to messages and control the glasses through natural gestures
Mark Zuckerberg is set to officially unveil these innovations during Meta's Connect keynote on Wednesday at 8PM ET, though the accidental reveal has already given us a comprehensive preview.

How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential
Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.
Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.

The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.
