• Grok 4’s July 9 launch drove a big revenue spike, with iOS earnings up 325% to $419,000 in two days (from $99,000). Downloads jumped 279% to 197,000, pushing Grok to #3 overall and #2 in Productivity by July 12

• The July 14 launch of AI companions had less impact. Downloads rose 40% to 171,000 daily, but revenue grew just 9% to $337,000, despite being limited to $30/month “Super Grok” users

• xAI’s premium pricing seems to work. They added a $300/month “SuperGrok Heavy,” pricier than OpenAI or Google. Grok stays #2 in Productivity, though it slid to #17 overall. Data is from iOS; Google Play stats are pending
