• Google says the latest preview scored 24 points higher in LMArena and 35 in WebDevArena, placing it at the top. It reportedly outperforms OpenAI’s models, Claude 4 Opus, Grok 3 Beta, and DeepSeek R1

• The model delivers more creative, better-formatted replies, based on earlier feedback. It's offered through Google AI Studio and Vertex AI at $1.25 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens

• This release signals Google's effort to regain ground in the LLM race. It includes features like “Deep Think,” which tests multiple hypotheses—though early results on its real-world value are mixed
