Meta Launches $499 Prescription AI Glasses for Everyday Wear

Meta is closing the gap between smart glasses and daily eyewear with the $499 Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer and Scriber, its first prescription-ready frames, aimed at a huge untapped consumer market.

Details:

  • The hardware includes extended hinges, interchangeable nose pads, and optician-adjustable temple tips, helping the frames fit nearly any prescription while staying comfortable for long daily wear

  • Meta is rolling out AI features like meal tracking by photo or voice, on-device WhatsApp summaries, iMessage support for Neural handwriting, and pedestrian navigation across every US city

  • With display recording, glanceable widgets, and personalized media shortcuts, Meta wants smart glasses to feel like practical daily tools, hoping real utility will outweigh privacy concerns

Meta is making its biggest push into mainstream eyewear — removing the prescription hurdle and showcasing on‑device AI, shifting how we interact with tech.

Apple Accidentally Rolls Out Apple Intelligence in China

After almost 18-month wait since the October 2024 US launch, iPhone owners in China — the last region without availability — thought they were finally getting Apple Intelligence when the features suddenly went live yesterday.

Details:

  • Multiple users — including viral tweet by @L0vetodream — celebrated iOS 26.4 appearing on devices, but Mark Gurman reports the rollout was accidental and Apple has pulled the features

  • This massive delay exists solely because the Chinese government requires Apple to partner specifically with local-based AI companies to develop the regional features

  • Even though Apple has successfully developed these localized features and has had them fully ready to go for months, the company is still formally awaiting official regulatory approval before launch

Ultimately, this brief glimpse was nothing more than a false start. Until the government officially signs off, Chinese iPhone users will just have to hang tight and wait a little while longer for the official release.

How to Transfer Your AI Memory to Claude in Seconds

Many people want to try Claude but hesitate because rebuilding context takes time. Instead of rewriting preferences and projects, you can export your AI memory and import it into Claude in a few steps.

  1. Use Claude’s Import Memory

Go to Claude and make sure you’re logged in. Find the Import Memory option and tap Get Started.

  2. Copy Transfer Prompt

Claude will generate a special prompt. Copy that full prompt exactly as shown.

  3. Paste It into Current AI Tool

Launch the AI assistant you’ve been using, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or another platform. Paste the copied prompt into a fresh chat and send it.

  4. Generate Memory Summary

Let the tool respond fully. It will create a structured summary of your:

    • Preferences and writing style

    • Ongoing projects and goals

    • Recurring instructions or habits

  5. Copy Full Response

Select the entire response carefully. Make sure nothing is missing before copying it.

  6. Paste Back into Claude

Return to Claude. Paste the full response into the Import Memory field exactly as instructed.

  7. Save and Activate Memory

    Press Add to Memory.

    Claude will then:

    • Reference your past preferences

    • Match your tone and style

    • Remember key project details across future chats

Note: Update your memory periodically. As your goals, projects, or writing style evolve, refresh the imported context to keep responses aligned.
