Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has warned that companies may be giving AI providers far more than they realize. Beyond paying for AI, businesses also hand over valuable knowledge that can strengthen the very models they rely on.

SoftBank CEO Predicts Five Trillion Dollars a Year for AI by 2040
SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son says AI will require $5 trillion in annual investment by 2040, calling concerns about an AI bubble "absurd" as he predicts AI will become a major part of the global economy.
Details:
Son expects AI revenue to reach 20% of global GDP by 2040, arguing that spending $5 trillion a year will be economically justified despite concerns over soaring AI infrastructure costs
He predicts AI data centers will require 3 terawatts of power by 2040, initially relying on natural gas before nuclear fusion becomes the main energy source, with space solar also a possibility
Son says the future will be agent-centric, with 100 trillion AI agents making decisions, acting, and communicating. SoftBank is investing heavily in OpenAI, data centers, and robotics
