Nadella Adopts Trump's Super Intelligence Language to Warn of AI Risks

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is using Trump's preferred name, “Super Intelligence,” for AI. He also warns that advanced AI models are risky, raising questions about OpenAI, Anthropic, and Microsoft's own business.

Details:

  • Trump ordered U.S. agencies to call AI “Super Intelligence.” Nadella is using that name too, although the term usually means AI smarter than humans, which current systems have not achieved

  • Nadella says models can make mistakes or be hacked while handling private data. He wants usage limits, action logs, independent audits, multiple models, and a human-controlled stop button

  • Microsoft is replacing some OpenAI and Anthropic models in Excel and Outlook with cheaper models of its own. That saves money and reduces its reliance on those companies

Microsoft faces another threat: OpenAI and Anthropic's AI assistants could do tasks directly, making people less dependent on Microsoft's software.

Mathematicians Want to Reward Human Understanding as AI Creates Proofs

Fields Medal winner Terence Tao is warning that AI is advancing too quick. With AI already solving difficult math problems, researchers fear machines could replace work that once took human mathematicians years to complete.

Details:

  • Tao says AI development must slow down because we don't understand its consequences. He is also supporting an open AI project to help mathematicians use these tools

  • Math educator Grant Sanderson argues that proving a formula is not enough. He wants researchers to get academic credit for explaining why it works and helping others understand it

  • Sanderson proposes PhD assessments that reward explaining AI proofs and great textbooks. After GPT-5.4 Pro tackled Erdős, mathematicians made its proof easier to follow

As AI produces more mathematical proofs, researchers face a bigger question: If machines can solve problems, how should we value human understanding?

How to Create an AI Sitcom With ChatGPT and Runway

You don't need actors, cameras, or animation skills to create your own comedy series with ChatGPT and Runway. Turn funny ideas into short sitcom episodes for social media.

  1. Plan Sitcom

Open ChatGPT and choose a simple comedy concept with recurring characters.

    Prompt:

"Create a 30-second sitcom episode about a mischievous raccoon living with a serious cat. Write 6 short shots with a setup, escalating problem, unexpected punchline, and final reaction. Describe each shot's action and setting."

  2. Create Main Character

Open Images in ChatGPT and generate your character.

    For example:

"Create a realistic anthropomorphic raccoon wearing a red hoodie and round glasses, with expressive facial features and human-like body language, styled like a 1990s TV sitcom character."

  3. Generate Sitcom Scenes

Upload your character image to ChatGPT and create a recurring setting, such as an apartment or living room.

Generate 6–8 separate images, one per shot, while keeping these consistent:

    • Character appearance and clothing

    • Room layout and furniture

    • Lighting, camera style, and visual tone

    Save each image for animation.

  4. Animate Scenes in Runway

Go to Runway, sign in, and select Gen-4.5 from Apps or the Video model selector in Tool mode.

    • Choose Image to Video and upload your first scene.

    • Set the duration between 2 and 10 seconds.

    • Describe the character's movement.

    For example:

"The raccoon slowly opens the refrigerator, freezes in surprise, and looks directly at the camera. Locked sitcom camera."

Press Generate to animate your scene.

  5. Create Remaining Clips

Repeat the process for every scene using simple motion prompts. Review each clip, regenerate unnatural results, and download the finished videos.

  6. Assemble Sitcom

In Runway, select Agent → New timeline to open the editing timeline.

    • Arrange your clips in story order.

    • Add dialogue, sound effects, or background laughter where appropriate.

Make sure the final scene delivers a clear punchline. Tap Download in the timeline to export your sitcom and create more episodes.

Note: Trim awkward pauses to improve comedic timing.
