NVIDIA

Nvidia AI Server Prices Could Rise Over 15% in 2027 Report Says

AI infrastructure could soon grow more expensive. Nvidia’s largest customers have been warned that prices for AI-chip servers may rise by more than 15%, largely because memory costs are surging across markets.

Details:

  • Those increases are expected on systems shipped in early 2027, including Nvidia’s Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell platforms, with the size varying by chip generation and memory

  • Server manufacturers serving Microsoft, Google and Oracle have begun notifying customers about the increases. Reuters said it could not independently verify Bloomberg’s reporting

  • TrendForce supports cost pressure: it expects server DRAM prices to rise 13–18% in Q3 2026 and says supply may stay tight through 2027 as AI infrastructure demand keeps climbing

Nvidia has not confirmed the rise. Its August 26 FY2027 earnings will be watched as a fresh read on AI demand, costs and the broader data center boom.

Inherent Lab

DeepMind Alumni Built an AI Scientist That Beat GPT and Claude

DeepMind alumni startup Inherent says its AI scientist Faraday outperformed leading systems from Anthropic and OpenAI at reproducing published research, despite running on a far smaller 27B-parameter base model.

Details:

  • Faraday beat Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5 on Replica, a benchmark with 310 tasks from 100 ML and AI-for-science papers spanning NLP, materials science, biology and weather

  • Faraday uses long-horizon reinforcement learning to build “research taste” — choosing useful experiments, designing them well and reproducing findings without the original plot

  • Faraday uses GPT-5.5 Codex for coding instead of building every tool itself. Inherent says the smaller scientist agent can direct a much larger model while keeping scientific judgment intact

Inherent raised $50M after leaving stealth and wants Faraday to move beyond replication into an AI teammate that helps scientists discover new knowledge.

How to Build a Website with ChatGPT Work and Codex

Building a website with AI is becoming less about writing one giant prompt and more about creating a workflow. Here’s how to use ChatGPT Work for planning and research, then hand everything to Codex to build the site.

  1. Start in ChatGPT Work

Open ChatGPT, switch to Work, and create or open a project for your website. Work is designed for longer, multi-step projects.

  2. Describe Website

Tell Work what you want to build and which framework to use.

    For example:

    • Website: AI tools directory

    • Framework: Astro.js

    • Goal: Help users discover tools by category

  3. Create PRD

Ask Work to turn your idea into a one-page PRD and save it in the project.

Prompt: “Create a simple one-page PRD covering the pages, navigation, categories, directory cards, filters, and core user experience.”

  4. Research Content

Ask Work to research the directory items your website needs, such as:

    • Name and website

    • Category

    • Short description

Keep the research with the project so Codex can use it.

  5. Build It with Codex

Switch to Codex, open the project folder, and point it to the PRD and research.

Prompt: “Read the PRD and research files, then build the Astro.js website described there. Make it clean, responsive, and functional.”

  6. Use Multiple Agents

For larger builds, let Codex split work across multiple agents—for example, one for components, another for data and filtering, and another for styling. Codex supports parallel multi-agent workflows.

  7. Preview, Fix, and Publish

Open the preview and ask Codex to fix the biggest visible issue first.

Prompt: “Review the current site and fix the most important usability or visual problem without changing parts that already work.”

Note: If ChatGPT Sites is available, you can use Codex to turn the finished project into a live site and deploy it from there.
