OpenAI

OpenAI Launches GPT-6 With Interactive Visuals and Widgets for ChatGPT

OpenAI just launched GPT-6 with Intelligent UI, turning ChatGPT from a mostly text-based chatbot into something far more interactive. It builds visuals, working tools, and custom layouts around your actual questions.

Details:

  • ChatGPT blends text with diagrams, charts, maps, forms and buttons. Explore bike parts, Mahjong tiles or airplane lift visually; it picks a smart layout but you can request fewer visuals

  • Ask for a retirement calculator, a bill splitter, or a retro game and use it in the chat. GPT-6 can answer while still reasoning, with web-search responses starting 44% sooner on average

  • Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise receive GPT-6 Sol starting Oct 7; Others from Oct 8. OpenAI reports stronger jailbreak resistance, safer replies and more accurate web search

ChatGPT is shifting from answering questions to creating the interface you need so you can learn, plan, explore and use tools without leaving ChatGPT.

Anthropic Unveils Claude Haiku 5.5 With Major Price Drops for AI Tasks

  • It costs about 75% less per task than Haiku 4.5 on average. Token rates fall 90% for prompts up to 100K tokens and 50% above; rates start at $0.10 input and $0.50 output per million tokens

  • Improved alignment and tighter cyber/biology safeguards curb misuse while allowing defensive work. It has a 1M-token context, adjustable effort and is on Claude, AWS, Google Cloud and Azure

Plus, Sonnet 5.5 cache reads cost 50% less, Max/Team users gain $100-$500 in monthly API credits, and SDK betas support browser and computer use.

How to Set Up ChatGPT Dot as a 24/7 Project Assistant

Most AI assistants work when you ask them something. ChatGPT Dot can take on ongoing responsibilities, remember project details, research updates, and keep making progress between conversations.

  1. Create Your Dot

Open ChatGPT on your computer or use the desktop app.

    • Select the option to create your dot.

    • Follow the setup instructions.

    • Name it Project Assistant and customize its appearance if you want.

Your dot has its own cloud computer, so it can work without keeping your computer on.

  2. Give It Project Context

Choose a project, such as launching a website or planning a marketing campaign. Tap the + button in your dot's conversation to upload:

    • Project plans and deadlines

    • Task lists and research documents

    • Previous progress reports

Explain your project's goals, important dates, and expected results. Your dot can remember this context for future work.

  3. Connect Your Work Apps

Open Plugins in ChatGPT or your dot's profile and connect the apps it needs, such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, or Slack.

Review each app's permissions before connecting it.

  4. Assign an Ongoing Job

Give your dot one clear responsibility instead of repeating instructions every day.

    Prompt:

"Work as my project assistant for [project name]. Track progress, review project documents, research developments, and identify deadlines or blockers. Remember important decisions, suggest the next three priorities, and flag anything needing attention. Ask for approval before making changes or contacting anyone."

Your dot can use these instructions to manage ongoing work and bring results back for review.

  5. Set Permission Rules

Open your dot's Custom rules settings to control which actions it can take independently.

Choose Ask before taking action for sensitive tasks, such as sending messages, changing shared files, or making purchases.

  6. Schedule Daily Updates

Ask your dot to review project progress on a recurring schedule.

    For example:

"Every weekday at 9 AM, review my project files, task updates, and calendar. Report completed work, upcoming deadlines, blockers, and the three most important next steps. Highlight changes since the previous report."

  7. Review Progress and Adjust

Open your dot's profile in the desktop app to review In progress, Scheduled, and Completed tasks.

Check results, review upcoming work, and give feedback when needed.

Note: Keep connected apps relevant. Connect the apps your dot needs, and regularly review their permissions.

Create Your Own Photo Like This Using the Prompt Below:

Create a premium 9:16 full-bleed editorial campaign poster combining realistic hard-sunlight photography with monumental, flat warm-cream (#F5E9C8), extra-condensed, heavy uppercase elastic typography. Feature a relaxed person lying in a woven saffron-yellow hammock, sagging deeply under their weight, with one arm and one bare foot dangling over the edge. Set beneath palms in deep-teal shade, with direct hard natural sunlight casting sharp leaf shadows, rich tones, authentic clean textures, and saffron-yellow as the sole vibrant accent. The headline "HANG LOOSE" acts as spatial architecture, stretching, leaning, and smoothly warping along the hammock's catenary curve: middle letters dip lowest and stretch taller, while outer letters rise toward the anchor points. Keep all letters 100% readable. Create convincing depth by placing the hammock fabric and dangling arm in front of the lowest middle letters, with ropes behind the outer letters. Use smooth, clean-edged, solid cream lettering with no 3D extrusion, bevels, drop shadows, outlines, grunge, artificial distressing, fake logos, filler copy, or unnecessary decorations. Maintain a minimalist, sophisticated editorial composition with strong visual hierarchy and seamless photo-type integration.
