How To Create Reusable Ad Videos With AI

Creating ad videos gets slow when every version needs the same manual edits. This workflow shows how to plan your ad in NotebookLM, build it in Remotion, and use Codex to turn one idea into reusable video variations.

1. Add Product Context

   Create a NotebookLM notebook and add:

   • Product screenshots

   • Landing page

   • Logo, offer, audience, proof, pain points, and tone

2. Generate Ad Concepts

   Use NotebookLM chat, not “interview mode.”

   Prompt:

   “Ask me 10 quick questions about my product, audience, offer, proof, tone, and ad goal. Then create 5 promo video concepts with hook, 3 beats, on-screen text, and 20 to 30 second structure.”

3. Create Remotion PRD

   Pick one concept.

   Prompt:

   “Write a Remotion PRD for this video. Include length, aspect ratio, scene timestamps, on-screen text, assets, transitions, animations, and editable variables.”

4. Build It In Remotion

   Create the project:

   npx create-video@latest my-ad-video

   cd my-ad-video

   npm install

   npm run dev

   Add the PRD as:

   prd-concept-1.md

5. Use Codex For Components & Variations

   Launch Codex in the project folder and prompt:
