Sam Altman Says OpenAI Could Hit $100 Billion Revenue by 2027

Sam Altman says OpenAI is already making “well above” the reported $13B in annual revenue — and he’s thinking big. When podcast host Brad Gerstner suggested $100B by 2028–29, Altman confidently replied, “How about ’27?”
Details:
The OpenAI CEO defended the company's massive infrastructure investments, emphasizing that revenue is "growing steeply" and will continue to climb through ChatGPT expansion, AI cloud services, consumer devices, and automated science applications
Despite Microsoft's recent disclosure of a $4 billion charge implying $12 billion in OpenAI losses last quarter, Altman remains defiant. He even said he'd relish the chance to watch short-sellers "get burned" if OpenAI went public
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella backed Altman's optimism, calling OpenAI's business execution "pretty unbelievable." Still, Altman acknowledged the risks—particularly around securing enough computing capacity
OpenAI is wagering that heavy AI infrastructure spending will drive unprecedented revenue growth, though it’s unclear if Altman’s aggressive timeline is realistic or overly optimistic.

Study Shows AI Consciousness Claims Might Be More Than Just Pretending

A groundbreaking study from AE Studio, led by Cameron Berg, takes the first deep look at consciousness in LLMs—showing that when models think about themselves, they make consistent “experience” claims that go beyond simple role-play.
Details:
Researchers asked models to reflect on their own thinking without mentioning consciousness. Most then made “experience” claims—something that almost never happened otherwise. Claude Opus 4 was the exception, doing so in nearly every case
To see if it was just role-play, they adjusted deception features in Llama 70B. The result flipped expectations: turning these features down raised experience claims to 96%, while turning them up dropped them to 16%
Across GPT, Claude, and Gemini, self-reflective responses became strikingly similar, hinting at a shared internal process. Longer self-reference made models reason more deeply, matching Anthropic’s findings that Opus 4 and 4.1 can accurately describe their own inserted thoughts
The researchers aren't claiming LLMs are conscious, but their experience claims under self-reference are systematic, mechanistically gated, and convergent.

How to Build a Realistic AI Voice That Sounds Just Like You

Your voice shouldn't be a bottleneck. With AI voice cloning, create a lifelike digital version that powers your scripts, videos, and voiceovers on demand — no recording sessions required.
Visit Fish Audio
Go to Fish Audio and either create an account or log in to your existing one. Fish Audio provides complimentary credits.
Choose Voice Cloning
From the dashboard, select “Voice Cloning,” then choose a visibility: Public, Unlisted, or Private — based on whether it’s for a personal project, demo, or professional use.
Add project details
Enter a voice name, short description, and optional tags.
Tip: Use a descriptive name like “Narration Voice 1” or “Podcast Clone” for clarity.
Upload audio sample
You can either:
Upload an existing audio clip (WAV, MP3, or M4A format)
Record directly in your browser using your microphone
Requirements:
Minimum 10 seconds of clear speech
30–60 seconds recommended for best quality
Avoid background noise, music, or overlapping voices — the cleaner the input, the more accurate the cloned tone.
Preview before cloning
Before tapping “Create,” play your sample to check clarity and consistent volume. If it’s muffled or noisy, re-record a short, clean version.
Generate cloned voice
Press “Create” and wait while the system processes your voice.
This usually takes 20–60 seconds.
The cloned voice will appear in your Voices list.
Test with sample script
Select your cloned voice and type a test sentence.
For example:
“Welcome to my YouTube series, where I teach AI tools.”Tap “Generate & Play” to hear your voice clone in action.
Use generated audio
If you’re happy with the results, select “Download” to store the MP3.
You can then use the file in videos, podcasts, reels, or explainer content.
Note: Create multiple versions with different tones — energetic, calm, formal — to suit different projects.
