Anthropic Just Passed OpenAI In Business AI Adoption For The First Time

Ramp’s May AI Index shows a major shift in business AI spending. Anthropic passed OpenAI in paid business adoption for the first time, while overall AI adoption across Ramp customers crossed 50% in April too.

Details:

  • In April, Anthropic adoption rose 3.8% to 34.4% of businesses. OpenAI fell 2.9% to 32.3%. Ramp says this is the first time Anthropic has led OpenAI in business AI adoption

  • Anthropic’s rise looks bigger over the year. Ramp says its business adoption quadrupled, while OpenAI grew 0.3%. But Ramp says this isn’t a final winner call because the market changes

  • Anthropic still faces pressure from token costs, rate limits, outages, compute limits, and costly image prompts. Ramp also notes cheaper open-source inference platforms are growing too

Next signal watch OpenAI subscriptions, developer adoption of Codex, and cheaper AI inference platforms. Ramp says the AI race can still flip quickly.

Meta Layoffs Put Thousands Of Jobs At Risk Despite Its Huge Ad Profits

Meta is making record profits, but employee morale is reportedly hitting record lows. Workers are bracing for another major layoff round while the company pushes harder into AI, automation, and internal tracking.

Details:

  • Meta plans to cut about 10% of its workforce, nearly 8,000 jobs. This comes after around 25,000 announced cuts over the past four years, even as its ad business remains highly profitable

  • Employees are also upset about pay cuts, widening gaps, and forced role changes. At least 1,000 top engineers were reportedly moved into an Applied AI Engineering division

  • The biggest concern is trust. Meta installed tracking software on US employee laptops to collect typing data for AI training, and workers say they cannot opt out

Meta’s AI race is no longer just about products. It is changing jobs, workplace trust, and how employees see the future of the company.

How to Organize Google Drive Files With AI

A messy Google Drive can waste more time than you think. Gemini can help you clean it by suggesting where loose files should go, but you stay in control because nothing moves until you approve it.

  1. Check permissions

Open Google Drive on desktop. This works on Drive web for supported Gemini accounts. If you do not see the feature, your account may not have support yet.

  2. Enter messy folder

Go to My Drive, a folder, or a shared drive. Look for Organize files.

This button appears when Drive finds files that can be organized.

  3. Start organizing

Tap Organize files. Gemini may suggest:

    • existing folders

    • fresh folders

    • better file groups

It uses your loose files to suggest where they should go.

  4. Review before moving

Check the suggestions carefully. Look at:

    • selected files

    • suggested folders

    • folder names

    • private or important files

Gemini helps, but you should control the final move.

  5. Refine suggestions

If the result is not useful, press Refine. Try:

    “Group these by client.”

    “Use existing folders when possible.”

    “Create fewer fresh folders.”

    “Keep folder names short.”

  6. Rename folders

Rename any fresh folder before approving. Use simple names like:

    Client Work

    Invoices

    Reports

Tip: Use Undo quickly if something moves incorrectly. Press Ctrl + Z on Windows or Command + Z on Mac right after the move.

Create Your Own Photo Like This Using the Prompt Below:

Ultra-detailed cinematic cyber-grunge fashion poster of a young man (use uploaded image as face reference) walking confidently toward the camera, full-body centered composition, neutral expression, wind-swept dark brown hair, subtle stubble, pale skin, dramatic editorial lighting. He wears layered black techwear: distressed oversized trench coat with torn flowing edges, heavy draped scarf, tactical cargo pants with straps, black leather combat boots, and a crossbody utility strap. Background split vertically — left half: textured off-white concrete with ink splatters, paint drips, barcode graphics, geometric diagrams, and minimalist UI elements; right half: deep matte black with cinematic fog and shadow gradients. Glossy black reflective floor mirrors the coat and boots. Multilingual typography integrated into design: bold English headline "BEYOND THE SHADOW / I WALK ALONE, BUT I CARRY EVERY VERSION OF MYSELF" upper left, large rough-textured vertical Japanese kanji on the right, Korean phrases in lower corners, plus scattered editorial text, coordinates, and futuristic labels throughout. Avant-garde streetwear campaign aesthetic meets neo-Tokyo cyberpunk and dystopian anime — monochrome, high contrast, volumetric smoke, hyper-detailed skin, realistic fabric physics, luxury magazine quality, 8K, vertical 4:5 ratio.
