OpenAI Fires Back At Google With Massive GPT-5.2 Update

OpenAI has answered Google’s momentum and an internal code red with the launch of GPT-5.2, aiming to reclaim industry leadership as Gemini 3 tops the leaderboards, by emphasizing stronger reliability and reasoning for developers and enterprise users.

Details:

  • It is available to paid users and devs in three versions: Instant for speed, Thinking for complex coding and math, and Pro for maximum accuracy. Thinking mode reportedly cuts errors by 38% and supports production-ready, multi-step agentic workflows

  • OpenAI says GPT-5.2 beats Gemini 3 Deep Think and Claude Opus 4.5 on key reasoning, coding, and science benchmarks. The release challenges Google’s ecosystem momentum and positions OpenAI as a default AI tooling foundation

  • Despite soaring compute costs and $1.4 trillion in infrastructure plans, executives say efficiency gains justify the spend. The launch lacks a rival to Nano Banana, though a visual update is rumored for January

With huge financial stakes and Google pushing its multimodal and cloud edge, this release is a key moment for OpenAI to prove its costly reasoning models create real economic value.

How much could AI save your support team?

Peak season is here. Most retail and ecommerce teams face the same problem: volume spikes, but headcount doesn't.

Instead of hiring temporary staff or burning out your team, there’s a smarter move. Let AI handle the predictable stuff, like answering FAQs, routing tickets, and processing returns, so your people focus on what they do best: building loyalty.

Gladly’s ROI calculator shows exactly what this looks like for your business: how many tickets AI could resolve, how much that costs, and what that means for your bottom line. Real numbers. Your data.

Google Drops Gemini Deep Research to Counter OpenAI GPT-5.2 Launch

Google made a strategic move, unveiling its most advanced research agent to counter GPT-5.2 release. Powered by Gemini 3 Pro, the Gemini Deep Research signals a shift toward agentic AI, where autonomous systems take over complex research tasks.

Details:

  • Developers can embed these deep research features into their own apps using the Interactions API. The model is trained to be Google’s most factual yet, reducing hallucinations in long-context work

  • Google backed the launch by open-sourcing the DeepSearchQA benchmark and leading results on Humanity’s Last Exam. It slightly lagged behind OpenAI on browser tasks but plans to integrate these agents into Search and NotebookLM

  • Those comparisons quickly became outdated with the release of OpenAI’s GPT-5.2, which claims stronger scores on standard benchmarks. The timing makes it clear that Google’s announcement was meant to disrupt its rival

This showdown shows the fight has shifted from chatbots to a war over which ecosystem will power tomorrow’s reliable autonomous agents.

How to Turn Ideas into LinkedIn Carousels Using ChatGPT and Canva

You don’t need advanced design skills or hours of work to create high quality LinkedIn carousels. This guide shows you a simple workflow to write the content and design the slides in minutes using ChatGPT and Canva together.

  1. Enter right workspace

Start in ChatGPT and initiate a fresh chat. Tap the + button, then More, and choose Canvas so you can draft and edit longer content smoothly.

  2. Define carousel structure

Before writing, decide what the carousel must do. This keeps the output focused and usable for LinkedIn.

Key structure to keep in mind:

    • Slide 1 sets the hook

    • Middle slides teach one idea each

    • Final slide tells the reader what to do next

  3. Generate first draft

Ask ChatGPT to write the carousel copy directly in Canvas. Be specific about length and purpose so it fits carousel slides.

    Example prompt you can use:

Write a 6-slide LinkedIn carousel about “building authority on LinkedIn.”

    • Slide 1: Bold hook that stops scrolling

    • Slides 2 to 5: One practical insight per slide

    • Slide 6: Simple CTA

Keep each slide under 35 words. Clear, direct language.

  4. Refine and tighten content

Read through each slide and polish the wording. This is where you improve clarity and flow. Focus on shorter sentences, one idea per slide, and removing filler words.

  5. Turn copy into visual carousel

Once the text is final, activate Canva from ChatGPT and give a precise design instruction.

    Example prompt:

@canva create a 6-slide LinkedIn carousel using this content: [paste slides].

Style: clean and modern, white background, dark text, subtle accent color, large headings.

    Do not change the wording.

  6. Review design options

ChatGPT will show multiple design variations. Take a moment to compare them.

    Look for:

    • Readability on mobile

    • Clear visual hierarchy

    • Enough spacing around text

  7. Fine-tune in Canva

Press the Canva link to open the carousel in the editor. Make small adjustments only if needed, such as font size, alignment, or spacing.

  8. Export in right format

When finished, download your carousel based on how you plan to post it.

Use PDF for LinkedIn document posts.

Use PNG if you want to upload slides individually.

Note: Make the hook slide specific and outcome driven. Clear promises perform better than vague or clever wording.
