OpenAI Launches GPT 6 Sol and Luna With Lower Costs and Fewer Mistakes
OpenAI expanded GPT-6 with Sol and Luna, bringing Astra-inspired gains in reliability, coding and alignment to cheaper models. Sol targets coding and agents, while Luna is built for high-volume work.
Details:
Both use more efficient caching and inference, cutting API prices 50% versus GPT-5.6 promotional pricing. Sol costs $2/$10 and Luna $0.10/$0.50 per 1M tokens, with 1M-token context
OpenAI says Sol makes about half as many factual mistakes as GPT-5.6 Sol, with stronger coding and computer use, and claims both models outperform Anthropic's Fable and Opus
Both launched in the API and ChatGPT Work/Codex for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. Luna also reaches F-r-e-e and Go desktop users, while ChatGPT app/web rollout continues
The timing is notable: Anthropic released Opus 5.5 about 90 minutes earlier, adding another same-day salvo to an increasingly intense AI model race.

Meta Says Muse Was Heavily Inspired by OpenClaw but Built From Scratch
Meta says Muse was built from scratch but heavily inspired by OpenClaw, after users spotted matching agent files. Nat Friedman says the team wanted OpenClaw’s approach in a safer product that could scale to billions.

Ansh Nanda’s viral post called Muse OpenClaw for mainstream users. Users found matching workspace names and near identical SOUL .md content, while Muse itself called the overlap a match
Friedman used OpenClaw in January, bought hundreds of Mac minis for Meta Superintelligence Labs, and said the team fell in love with it and its personal agent workflow
Friedman praised Peter Steinberger and said Meta wanted OpenClaw like capabilities made safe, secure, easy to use and scalable. Steinberger later joined OpenAI; OpenClaw stayed open source
Muse reached No. 1 on the U.S. App Store, while Apptopia found stronger iOS traction than ChatGPT in the same 12 day window. Meta declined comment.

Most people still use ChatGPT manually, but Scheduled Tasks make it more powerful. You can ask ChatGPT to do things at set times, repeat tasks automatically, and notify you when there’s a meaningful update.
Launch ChatGPT
Go to ChatGPT on web or mobile and sign in to your account.
Find Scheduled Page
Look for the Scheduled page in the ChatGPT sidebar. This is where you can view, create, and manage your scheduled tasks.
Create Task
Start a fresh scheduled task from the Scheduled page.
You can set:
What ChatGPT should do
When the task should run
Whether it should happen once or repeat
Choose Schedule
Pick the timing that fits your task.
For example:

Weekly summary
Create Tasks by Asking
You can also create a scheduled task by simply asking ChatGPT in a fresh chat.

Scheduled Tasks can do more than simple reminders. You can ask ChatGPT to:
Send recurring reports
Check for meaningful changes
Notify you when something important updates
Example prompt:
“Check every day if OpenAI releases a fresh major feature, and notify me if there is an important update.”
Tip: A task like “remind me later” is vague, but “remind me every Friday at 9 AM” gives ChatGPT a much better schedule to follow.
