OpenAI Turns ChatGPT Into A Personal Finance Assistant For Users
OpenAI is bringing personal finance into ChatGPT. U.S. Pro users can connect accounts through Plaid and ask ChatGPT about spending, cash flow, subscriptions, payments, debt, savings, and investments.
Details:
Users can link checking, savings, credit cards, loans, investments, and liabilities. ChatGPT turns that into a dashboard for balances, trends, portfolio performance, upcoming bills, and subscriptions
People can ask where their money is going, which subscriptions to cancel, whether a big purchase is affordable, or how to save more using real transactions, goals, and context
OpenAI says ChatGPT cannot see full account numbers, move money, or change accounts. Users can disconnect anytime, and synced financial data is deleted from OpenAI systems
This also connects to OpenAI’s Intuit push. ChatGPT is moving from answering money questions to helping users plan, compare options, and take safer financial steps.

Anthropic Faces Dev Backlash Over Latest Claude Agent Credit Limits
Anthropic just made Claude agents harder to love. From June 15, Agent SDK, claude -p, GitHub Actions and third-party agent tools move into a separate monthly credit pool, outside normal Claude limits.
Details:
Pro users receive $20, Max 5x receives $100, and Max 20x receives $200 for agent usage. Credits refresh each billing cycle, do not roll over and stay tied to each user, so teams cannot share them
When credits run out, extra usage moves to standard API rates if enabled. If not, requests stop until refresh. Claude Code, Cowork and chat still use normal plan limits for interactive work
That partly restores OpenClaw after April's block, but the subsidy is gone. Dev backlash followed while OpenAI courts switchers with Codex freebies and mobile support for developers
The bigger lesson: unlimited AI plans are cracking. Chat is predictable, but agents can burn tokens nonstop, and every AI lab must price that reality.

How to Turn Chrome into an AI Assistant with Gemini
Gemini in Chrome turns AI from a separate chat tool into something that works inside your browser. It can read the tabs you share, compare information, and help you make decisions quicker.
Enter Gemini settings
In Chrome, go to:
Settings > AI Innovations > Gemini in Chrome
This is where you enable the Gemini features for this workflow.
Turn on Gemini features
Enable:
Show Gemini at the top of the browser
Share current tab with Gemini
If you have Google AI Pro, also enable:
Let Gemini browse for-you
Load product pages you want to compare
Open three product tabs in Chrome for the items you want Gemini to review. Choose pages that clearly show:

Launch Gemini and attach tabs
Tap Gemini at the top of Chrome. Then type @ to attach the tabs you want Gemini to use. This lets Gemini read the exact pages you selected.
Ask Gemini to compare products
Use a prompt like this:
“Compare these three products and tell me which gives best value for the price. Focus on features, cost, and major tradeoffs.”Review Gemini’s recommendation
Gemini will compare the products and suggest the best option. This works even without Google AI Pro, because you are directly sharing the tabs.
Use Chrome automation
If you have AI Pro, ask Gemini to take the next step. Use a prompt like this:
“Find me a cheaper option with similar features and show me best alternative.”Gemini may first show a plan, then use Chrome to complete the browser steps.
Note: This is useful for more than shopping too, like comparing software tools, pricing plans, or service pages.
