OpenAI Reaches $1.25 Trillion Valuation After $11 Billion Raise

OpenAI has reportedly secured $11 billion in fresh funding at a $1.25 trillion valuation. It’s the first part of a larger round, but the company has scaled back both its valuation and fundraising targets.
Details:
The $11 billion is the first close of a round that could reach $20 billion, with the rest expected in coming weeks. OpenAI raised $122 billion in a separate March round
OpenAI originally aimed to raise at least $30 billion at a $1.4 trillion valuation. It has since cut its funding goal by $10 billion and the valuation target by $150 billion
SoftBank and UAE-backed MGX participated. The smaller raise follows an AI stock selloff, concerns about infrastructure spending and OpenAI's delayed IPO as rival Anthropic prepares to list
OpenAI still commands a massive valuation, but the reduced targets signal more cautious investors as AI spending faces closer scrutiny.

Unreleased Anthropic AI Helps Crack 18 Year Quantum Mystery in 3 Days

An unreleased Anthropic AI model helped crack an 18-year-old quantum computing problem. Physical Superintelligence (PSI) says its research system proved a conjecture dating to 2008 in just three days.
Details:
The Aaronson–Ambainis conjecture asks when quantum computers can outperform classical ones exponentially. Its answer points to the importance of special structure in problems
PSI's internal system used multiple instances of a non-public Anthropic model. It finished a proof on day 3, then strengthened the result twice while exploring related problems
The Lean proof assistant checked the formal proof step by step. PSI published the paper and code; Stanford researchers who solved a special case are reviewing the full result
If expert scrutiny confirms the result, it marks a major step for AI-assisted research and clarifies where quantum computers can truly excel.

How to Turn Anonymous Website Visitors Into Qualified Leads

Someone visits your pricing page, looks around, and leaves. Instead of losing that opportunity, this AI workflow can identify the company, research the right prospect, and prepare a personalized follow-up.
Track website visitors
Connect your website to Clay Web Intent by installing its tracking snippet.
Clay can then capture signals such as pages visited, session time, traffic source, and visit frequency. Importantly, it identifies visitors at the company/account level, not individual people.
Focus on high-intent accounts
Instead of targeting every visitor, filter for stronger signals such as:
Visiting
/pricingor other important pagesViewing multiple pages
Spending meaningful time on the site
Returning more than once
Find right person
Once Clay identifies the company, enrich that account and find a relevant decision-maker.
For example, if you sell a marketing tool, the workflow could look for a Head of Marketing, Growth Lead, or CMO instead of contacting a random employee.
Let AI research prospect
Send the company and contact data to Claygent.
Claygent can research the web for recent company news, hiring signals, business information, and other useful context.
Prompt it with:
“Research this company and contact. Find relevant information that could explain why our product may be useful to them. Use information you can verify.”Generate personalized follow-up
Ask Claygent to turn that research into a short email.
“Write a natural sales email under 100 words using the prospect research. Mention one relevant problem we may help solve and end with one simple question.”The important part is not to tell people you tracked their website activity.
Automate follow-up
Send qualified prospects into Clay Sequencer, where you can build a campaign with up to four emails and personalize messages using lead data and AI-generated snippets. The sequence automatically stops when a lead replies.
Your finished workflow becomes:
Website Visit → Company Identified → Contact Found → AI Research → Personalized Email → Follow-Up Sequence
Note: Combine intent + fit. A company visiting your site matters much more if it also matches your ideal customer profile.
