OpenAI Secures Rushed Pentagon Contract Following Anthropic Ban

After Trump administration banned Anthropic over unrestricted military AI demands, Sam Altman swiftly secured a Pentagon deal—saying he locked in the same ethical limits that derailed Anthropic’s talks.
Details:
The deal sets three red lines: no domestic mass surveillance, no control of fully autonomous weapons, and no high-stakes automated decisions without human oversight
OpenAI will enforce this via cloud deployment, full control of its safety systems, cleared on-site engineers for monitoring, and termination rights if safeguards are violated
In a weekend Q&A on X, Sam Altman said the deal was rushed to ease tensions, but critics question the “all lawful purposes” wording that Anthropic previously rejected
This shift makes OpenAI a key military AI partner, raising accountability concerns over ethics in classified operations.
The Architecture Behind AI-Native Revenue Automation
In our new white paper, The Architecture Behind AI-Native Revenue Automation, Tabs CTO Deepak Bapat breaks down what it actually takes to apply AI to revenue workflows without breaking the books.
You’ll learn why probabilistic reasoning isn’t enough for finance, how Tabs pairs LLMs with deterministic logic, and why a unified Commercial Graph is the foundation for scalable, audit-ready automation. From contract interpretation to cash application, this paper goes deep on where AI belongs—and where it absolutely doesn’t.
If you’re evaluating AI for billing, collections, or revenue operations, this is the architecture perspective most vendors won’t show you.

Microsoft Reveals a Phantom Computer to Handle Your Digital Busywork

Microsoft is actively moving into the "agentic" AI space with the introduction of Copilot Tasks, a system designed to act as a "phantom" computer that runs in the cloud to handle tedious digital chores in the background.
Details:
It moves beyond simple chat interactions by autonomously executing complex workflows, such as converting emails and attachments into ready-made slide decks or filtering through inboxes and draft replies
The system is specifically built to manage "life admin" and recurring to-do lists, with capabilities that range from finding and canceling unused subscriptions to monitoring apartment listings
Currently launched as a limited research preview to compete with similar tools from OpenAI and Anthropic, it includes safety guardrails that force the AI to ask for explicit permission before taking actions
Microsoft has opened a waitlist for the feature, aiming to eventually offload repetitive administrative work to this always-on background agent.

How to Build a Realistic AI Voice That Sounds Just Like You

Your voice shouldn't be a bottleneck. With AI voice cloning, create a lifelike digital version that powers your scripts, videos, and voiceovers on demand — no recording sessions required.
Visit Fish Audio
Go to Fish Audio and either create an account or log in to your existing one. Fish Audio provides complimentary credits.
Choose Voice Cloning
From the dashboard, select “Voice Cloning,” then choose a visibility: Public, Unlisted, or Private — based on whether it’s for a personal project, demo, or professional use.
Add project details
Enter a voice name, short description, and optional tags.
Tip: Use a descriptive name like “Narration Voice 1” or “Podcast Clone” for clarity.
Upload audio sample
You can either:
Upload an existing audio clip (WAV, MP3, or M4A format)
Record directly in your browser using your microphone
Requirements:
Minimum 10 seconds of clear speech
30–60 seconds recommended for best quality
Avoid background noise, music, or overlapping voices — the cleaner the input, the more accurate the cloned tone.
Preview before cloning
Before tapping “Create,” play your sample to check clarity and consistent volume. If it’s muffled or noisy, re-record a short, clean version.
Generate cloned voice
Press “Create” and wait while the system processes your voice.
This usually takes 20–60 seconds.
The cloned voice will appear in your Voices list.
Test with sample script
Select your cloned voice and type a test sentence.
For example:
“Welcome to my YouTube series, where I teach AI tools.”Tap “Generate & Play” to hear your voice clone in action.
Use generated audio
If you’re happy with the results, select “Download” to store the MP3.
You can then use the file in videos, podcasts, reels, or explainer content.
Note: Create multiple versions with different tones — energetic, calm, formal — to suit different projects.
