Internal OpenAI Memo Reveals Secret Model Built to Accelerate the Economy

A leaked memo says OpenAI has finished pretraining its latest model, “Spud.” Sam Altman told staff it may launch within weeks, could boost the economy, and is already reshaping the company’s roadmap.
Details:
OpenAI is shutting down Sora to unlock more computing power for Spud and other key projects. It is also renaming Fidji Simo’s product group to “AGI Deployment” as part of a broader internal shift
Spud is expected to become the core model behind OpenAI’s planned desktop superapp. That would bring together ChatGPT, Codex, and an upcoming browser called Atlas into one experience
These moves suggest OpenAI is under pressure to narrow gap with Anthropic. Claude Code and Anthropic’s agent tools have won strong business interest, while Codex and Frontier are working to keep pace
As the race toward artificial general intelligence continues to accelerate, these decisive internal pivots indicate that OpenAI is preparing for a major enterprise offensive.
The AI your stack deployed is losing customers.
You shipped it. It works. Tickets are resolving. So why are customers leaving?
Gladly's 2026 Customer Expectations Report uncovered a gap that most CIOs don't see until it's too late: 88% of customers get their issues resolved through AI — but only 22% prefer that company afterward. Resolution without loyalty is just churn on a delay.
The difference isn't the model. It's the architecture. How AI is integrated into the customer journey, what it hands off and when, and whether the system is designed to build relationships or just close tickets.
Download the report to see what consumers actually expect from AI-powered service — and what the data says about the platforms getting it right.
If you're responsible for the infrastructure, you're responsible for the outcome.
ARC Prize
ARC AGI 3 Exposes Massive AI Intelligence Gap

ARC Prize Foundation has launched ARC-AGI-3, a benchmark that tests AI in interactive, turn-based games. Unlike earlier tests, it removes many usual advantages and forces agents to explore, infer goals, and solve tasks without hints.
Details:
According to report, humans solved all 135 environments with no prior knowledge, but every frontier model scored under 1%. Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview reached 0.37%, GPT 5.4 got 0.26%, Opus 4.6 scored 0.25%, and Grok-4.20 got 0.00%
The benchmark uses a metric called Relative Human Action Efficiency, or RHAE. It compares how many useful actions an AI takes versus a human and penalizes brute-force guessing rather than slow internal reasoning
With ARC-1 and ARC-2 largely saturated, ARC-AGI-3 is built to test the next gap: agentic intelligence. It shows that doing well on familiar tasks does not prove a model can handle unfamiliar environments on its own
This massive disparity shows exactly how far current AI systems remain from genuine human-like adaptability.

How to Generate Full E-Commerce Product Shoot with Grok

If your AI product images look good alone but don’t feel connected, this workflow helps. You’ll learn how to use Grok’s Aurora model to turn one strong image into a cohesive e‑commerce product shoot.
Launch Grok
Go to Grok and upload a clean photo of your product to use as the starting reference.
Create base studio shot
Write a prompt that clearly defines the studio setup, lighting, and camera style.
Example prompt:
“Studio product photo of [your product] on a dark textured surface, soft key light from the upper left, subtle shadow on the right, shot on an 85mm lens, f/2.8, shallow depth of field, premium commercial product photography”Lock in visual style
Keep the main visual details consistent so every next image matches the first one:
surface or background style
lighting direction and softness
lens and depth of field
Generate second angle
Use the first result as the base and ask for a fresh angle without changing the overall setup.
Example prompt:
“Use the same product, same dark textured surface, same soft upper-left lighting, same commercial studio setup, but show it from a 3/4 angle”Create variation shots
Expand the set by changing the framing or composition:
a tighter close-up
a top-down version
a clean white background version
Add one lifestyle image
Create a real-world usage shot so the set feels more complete. Describe how the product is being used and where it appears.
Include:
who is using it or how it is placed
the environment
the lighting and mood
Example prompt:
“Lifestyle photo of [your product] being used in a modern indoor setting, natural soft lighting, realistic atmosphere, premium brand look, keep the product design accurate and visually consistent with the studio images”
Note: Place the generated images side by side and check whether they feel like they came from the same shoot.
