OpenAI Unveils GPT‑5.2‑Powered Deep Research with App Integration and Search Features

OpenAI has officially upgraded ChatGPT’s Deep Research feature to run on the latest GPT-5.2 model, evolving the tool from o3 and o4 launched in 2025 into a fully capable "AI agent" that conducts independent, multi-stage web searches.
Details:
Users can connect external apps and direct the AI to search specific websites, giving precise control over where the system looks for information rather than relying on general browsing
The workflow allows for real-time interaction, meaning you can watch the research progress, interrupt with questions, edit the scope, or add sources while the chatbot is generating response
Results load in a built-in document viewer with a table of contents and can be exported as PDF, Word, or Markdown, though OpenAI notes that while web search reduces hallucination rates, it does not eliminate them
While targeted queries improve reliability, users should still verify full-screen reports, as generative AI errors remain possible even with live web data.
World’s First Safe AI-Native Browser
AI should work for you, not the other way around. Yet most AI tools still make you do the work first—explaining context, rewriting prompts, and starting over again and again.
Norton Neo is different. It is the world’s first safe AI-native browser, built to understand what you’re doing as you browse, search, and work—so you don’t lose value to endless prompting. You can prompt Neo when you want, but you don’t have to over-explain—Neo already has the context.
Why Neo is different
Context-aware AI that reduces prompting
Privacy and security built into the browser
Configurable memory — you control what’s remembered
As AI gets more powerful, Neo is built to make it useful, trustworthy, and friction-light.

Elon Musk’s xAI in Crisis as Second Cofounder Quits in Two Days

Elon Musk’s xAI is facing a leadership shakeup as co-founder and research lead Jimmy Ba has resigned. His exit, just days after co-founder Tony Wu left, means just half of the startup’s original 12 founders remain.
Details:
The rapid string of departures has rattled the company. Ba is the sixth founding member to leave since 2023, coming after Wu’s resignation and raising questions about confidence inside the technical leadership
Signs of internal strain are growing. The reported pressure includes a controversial $1.25 trillion merger with SpaceX, plus tensions over intense deadlines to ship models and “adult” AI companions
Ba, a University of Toronto professor, said he needs to “recalibrate his gradient.” He hinted that 2026 may be the “most consequential year” for species, pointing to possible arrival of recursive self-improvement
This shakeup raises fresh doubts about xAI’s ability to keep pace with rivals like OpenAI and Anthropic, especially as it tries to integrate with SpaceX while losing key talent.

How to Turn Reddit Threads Into Viral LinkedIn Posts

Most LinkedIn posts fail because they’re written from guesswork. This tutorial shows how to pull real audience language from Reddit and turn it into high-performing LinkedIn content using a simple 7-step workflow.
Pick right thread
Go to a subreddit in your niche. Find a post with strong engagement. Look for lots of comments, not just upvotes.
Trigger JSON view
Enter the thread. Tap the URL bar. Add /.json at the end. Press enter.
Copy raw audience voice
You will see a wall of raw text. Copy everything on the page. This is the unfiltered language of your target audience.
Clean input
Before you paste into an AI model:
Remove obvious repeats if you notice them.
Keep the title, top comments, and replies.
Do not rewrite anything.
Extract frustrations and hooks
Paste the JSON into your AI model. Use this prompt:
"I am pasting raw JSON data from a Reddit thread about [TOPIC]. Identify the top 3 frustrations. Include the exact phrases people used. Write 5 LinkedIn hooks based on those frustrations. Make them short and punchy like these:Example A: Stop doing [X]. It’s why you’re stuck.Example B: Most people think [Y]. That’s why they lose.Example C: If you struggle with [Z], read this.JSON Data:[PASTE DATA]"Turn insights into posts
Move the output to Claude. Use this prompt:
"You are an expert LinkedIn ghostwriter. Write 5 LinkedIn posts using the frustrations below. Rules: Short sentences. Lots of white space. One actionable tip + one framework per post.End with: 'Repost if this helped.'Frustrations and exact phrases:[PASTE]"Final polish before posting
Pick the strongest post. Tighten the first 2 lines. Remove extra words. Post, then save best hooks for later.
Note: Focus on threads with strong comment depth, not just high upvotes. Long discussions usually mean stronger emotional signals.
