Nobody's coming to approve your idea
People assume that real businesses get built by other people with more resources. It's how great ideas get stuck in notes apps and conversations.
But you don't need six months and a developer's salary to validate your concept. You just need a weekend. Describe what you want to exist and Lovable builds it: a real site, a real product, ready to accept real payments from real customers. Not a mockup to show people. An actual thing they can use.
You don't need anyone's sign-off to get started. Take $5 off your first month.
Discount of $5 applies to first month of any paid plan. You need to sign up via this webpage in order to claim the discount. The discount applies to new and returning users without an active paid plan. Terms apply.

Sam Altman Says RAM Is Better Used in Data Centers Than in Your Own PC

Sam Altman says your PC's RAM is being wasted. In a Cheeky Pint podcast conversation with John Collison, the OpenAI CEO questioned why valuable memory resources sit in personal computers while AI demand keeps growing.
Details:
Altman argued that running open-source AI models locally doesn't eliminate need for data centers. It still ties up the world's already limited supply of DRAM inside individual computers
He called that allocation βquite terrible,β claiming RAM in personal computers may be used 5% of the time. That number was his argument, not a verified measurement for every PC
He believes cloud data centers can keep RAM working far more consistently, making better use of scarce memory for AI workloads. His comments have sparked criticism from PC users
The discussion reflects a broader challenge facing the tech industry as demand for memory and AI computing continues to grow.

Claude Sonnet 5 Helped Perform Brain Surgery on a Living Mouse at Exin

Claude helped perform brain surgery on a living mouse. Biotech startup Exin Therapeutics says it used Claude Sonnet 5 to choose a gene therapy for epilepsy and control a robotic injector under veterinary supervision.
Details:
A surgeon opened the mouse's skull first. Claude chose a therapy from 19 options, selected the brain region and coordinates, then controlled the robotic needle, injection volume, and speed
The team initially tried Claude Opus 5.5, but it refused to guide the needle into the brain, citing the risk of stopping midway. Researchers switched to Claude Sonnet 5
Humans approved the injection plan and had an emergency stop button. A coordinate glitch needed a separate AI fix. The mouse is recovering, but whether its seizures improve remains unknown
The experiment shows how AI could take a more active role in lab research, although human oversight and further testing are still essential.

How to Create Editable Logos and Vector Graphics Using Ideogram

Ideogramβs latest Vector 1.0 model turns text prompts or existing images into editable SVG logos and illustrations you can resize, recolor, and customize without losing quality.
Open Ideogram Vector
Visit Ideogram Vector and sign in to your account. Tap Create a vector to start designing from a text prompt.
Describe Your Design
Write a prompt explaining what you want to create. Include the logo name, visual style, preferred colors, and layout.
Example prompt:
Create a modern minimalist vector logo for a coffee brand named "EMBER & OAK". Include a geometric coffee cup icon, forest green and cream colors, bold readable lettering, and a clean centered composition. Use simple shapes and a flat design style. No mockups or photographic effects.Add Reference Images
If you already have a sketch or design inspiration, upload reference images to guide the result. Ideogram Vector supports up to five reference images.
Generate Your Vector
Choose your preferred aspect ratio and quality setting, then press Generate. Review the resulting artwork and check the lettering, shapes, and overall composition.
Download the SVG
Open your preferred design and download it in SVG format. Unlike ordinary PNG or JPEG images, SVG artwork can be resized without becoming blurry.
Customize Your Design
Import the SVG into Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Inkscape. You can then:
Change individual shapes and colors.
Resize or reposition design elements.
Refine outlines and gradients.
Export versions for websites, merchandise, or print.
Convert Existing Images Into Vectors
Already have a logo or illustration? Return to Ideogram Vector and choose Vectorize an image.
Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file, run the conversion, and download the resulting SVG. You can then open it in your vector editor to refine individual elements.
Note: Generated lettering may be converted into vector outlines rather than editable font text.
