• The AI calling feature is available for select businesses like pet groomers, dry cleaners, and auto shops. Users can choose “have AI check pricing,” enter their details, and receive results via text or email after the AI makes the call

• Premium users (AI Pro and AI Ultra) enjoy increased usage limits and early availability of Gemini 2.5 Pro in AI Mode. This mode includes Deep Search, which performs multi-step reasoning, generates follow-up questions, and verifies information

• Business owners can opt out through their profile settings. The feature targets younger users who prefer not to make calls, blending Google’s Duplex tech with Gemini to handle complex customer service tasks without human help

This marks a shift toward AI-led business communication, changing how consumers engage with local services and raising questions about human-to-human interaction.
