Trump Launches Federal Super Intelligence Force to Lead Global AI Race

Trump has launched a “Super Intelligence Force” to coordinate U.S. AI policy, naming intelligence chief Jay Clayton to lead it as Trump argues the technology could prove bigger than the Industrial Revolution and internet.
Details:
Clayton will lead with FTC chair Andrew Ferguson, Pentagon tech chief Emil Michael and OPM director Scott Kupor. The group reports to Trump and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles
The force has 120 days to assess AI risks and opportunities, define the federal role, review breach reporting, and recommend stronger government responses
Its charter targets AI-enabled threats without overregulation, while engaging consumers, faith groups, public-interest groups, infrastructure providers and AI firms as the U.S. races China
The move follows Trump’s order renaming AI as “Super Intelligence” and a voluntary White House safety pledge. Clayton succeeds AI czar David Sacks.

China’s Maxwell AI Sets New Record for Physical Robot Task Performance

China’s Maxwell embodied AI model has topped Meta-World with a record 91.9 score across 50 simulated physical tasks, from grasping and carrying to opening doors and operating drawers, setting a fresh benchmark high.
Details:
CAS’s IAII built Maxwell. On MT50 it completed 2,305/2,500 trials and 287/300 hard runs; entries include DeepMind, Alibaba, Meituan, CMU, MIT, Cambridge, Toyota and Physical Intelligence
The 1B-parameter model supports single-GPU inference and edge deployment, handles 200+ tasks without extra fine-tuning; FabriVLA scored 90 and South Korea’s SUREFlow placed third at 88.3
On LIBERO, Maxwell covered 4 suites, 40 tasks and 1,693 trajectories, reaching up to 99.1% success on multi-step jobs like stove-kettle, microwave-cup, book storage and drawer tasks
These are simulation results, not broad real-world proof. Still, Maxwell shows China’s rapid push toward compact, capable embodied AI for physical robots.

How to Turn an AI-Coded Website Into an Editable Canva Design

AI can generate a website in minutes, but polishing it can get technical. Canva Code 2.0 lets you import AI-generated HTML as an editable design, so you can quickly refine the layout, branding, text, and visuals.
Create website with AI
First, build your website using your preferred AI coding tool. For example:
ChatGPT or Codex
Claude
Gemini
Cursor
Another AI website builder
Ask it to create the landing page, portfolio, calculator, dashboard, or interactive experience you need.
Example prompt:
“Create a responsive landing page for an AI productivity app. Include a hero section, feature cards, testimonials, pricing section, FAQ, and CTA. Use a clean modern SaaS design.”Export HTML file
Once the website looks right, export or download the project as an HTML file.
Canva Code 2.0 can import HTML created outside Canva, including work generated by other AI assistants.
Import it into Canva
Open Canva and sign in. From the homepage, either open Code or upload your HTML/code file directly. Canva will convert the imported project into an editable Canva design.
Edit website visually
You can work on the website using Canva’s familiar visual editor instead of manually changing HTML. You can:
Rewrite text
Change fonts
Adjust colors
Move elements
Replace images
Upload your own graphics
Drag in assets from Canva’s library
Canva says imported Code projects can be manually edited like other Canva designs.
Refine sections with AI
If one section still doesn’t look right, you don’t need to rebuild the entire page. Select the element or section you want to change and use Canva AI to refine it conversationally.
For example:
“Make this hero section more premium. Use larger typography, more whitespace, and a stronger CTA.”Check mobile responsiveness
Before publishing, preview how the website behaves on different screen sizes.
Resize the design inside the editor to test desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts. Canva Code designs can automatically reflow as the available screen size changes.
Publish website
Once everything looks right, select Publish Website to put the project online, or use Share if you want teammates to review and edit it first.
Note: Avoid relying heavily on JavaScript. Imported Canva designs currently don’t support JavaScript functionality.
