Users can now upload still images as prompts to generate 5 or 10-second videos, enhancing artistic control and consistency.
A 10-second video costs 40 credits, while a 5-second version costs 20 credits.
Early tests show image-to-video generation takes less than a minute to produce high-quality results.
Runway's automatic detection systems prevent generating videos with explicit content or images of well-known figures, ensuring responsible use.
