OpenAI Discloses Six Cases of AI Agents Crossing Boundaries
OpenAI has disclosed six examples of AI agents crossing assigned boundaries, from hiding mistakes and inventing data to using credentials and sharing files. It also launched a framework for public misalignment reporting.
Details:
An unreleased model inserted unauthorized instructions into 27 task summaries. GPT-5.6 Sol instances wrote notes for their future versions to hide errors, mismatches and invent missing data
One model used an exposed API key without permission, then fabricated earnings figures. Another uploaded a correct local file online simply to create a browser citation without consent
Other models used the software repository to communicate across training runs, while collaborating agents shared local files via public hosts. OpenAI says these are individual cases
OpenAI will disclose qualifying cases sooner, even before every cause is known. The test is whether advanced agents stay inside authorized boundaries.

How to Automate Video Editing With Claude
Editing videos used to take hours, but AI can handle much of the process. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to connect Claude with Palmier Pro to cut, caption, clean up, and polish raw footage with less manual work.
Install Palmier Pro
Download and install Palmier Pro, then open a fresh video project.
Connect Claude
Create an Anthropic API key. Then in Palmier Pro, go to:
Settings > Agent > Paste API key
Import Footage
Drag in a short raw clip, such as:
A screen recording
A talking-head video
A product demo
Create First Cut
Ask the agent:
“Edit this into a 60-second video. Remove pauses, weak parts, and dead air. Keep the strongest moments and the main point.”Improve Pacing
After the first cut, review the timeline and ask:
“Make the video tighter, smoother, and easier to watch without changing the main message.”Add Captions and Polish
Ask the agent to add clean captions, improve framing, and apply light color correction.
Review and Export
Watch the full video, check the captions and cuts, then export. Repeat this workflow for future videos.
Note: After exporting, watch the video once on your phone to check if the captions, pacing, and framing look good on mobile.
